The Sunday Drive : ....so since when I was younger running around in the Bahamas my father would always calm me down with a drive. Which was normally on Sunday's cause since he's a minister he really wanted us to recognize the Sabbath as a day of rest. Fast forward about 20 years and now I'm in Atlanta, GA still an ansy 'kid' who can't keep still. So I tend to calm myself down with a Sunday Drive.

I woke up a bit late..missed the early service and I was supposed to have a shoot at 10a but it was cancelled...so I slept in which I was happy about because my comrades and I had a rousing night of cards and MAN fun. I woke up with the strawberry in my head. This was a photo that my homegirl Crystal Furlonge took. She's a great photographer and mad cool to kick it with. She can talk as much smack as us so we keep her around. Think it's something to do with her being a Trini.(Trinidadian). So I finally walk out and it's a 'beautiful day in my neighborhood'.

I ride down Hark Aaron and see that they're setting up for the races so I figured I'd catch it on the way back. I'm driving all slow making people curse on a Sunday but hey...as my father would say.."relllaxx!" Rolled over to Ponce and it's this old Kodak building that I always pass and say I need to do something over there so I made a bat turn and made it happen.

I rolled around Piedmont park but the was doing construction over there so I couldn't stop....next week we'll get that poppin. So I headed back downtown....around Poplar and Fairlie..something about that area reminds me of Soho, NY...love it! Had to roll by Slice cause it wouldnt be right and shot the graffiti mural done by 'mrneversatified"....Right i dont know who he is either but i thought it was cool.

Finally headed back towards my area cause I had a meeting at 3 but gave myself enough time to play some games at the track. They almost gave me the urge to take my car out there...but might not be a good idea since "Cocaine"(my car) needs new tires. Buss how I got yelled at though for being slick and venturing onto the track for a better shot. Figured I would(get yelled at) since I almost got hit....lol. But it was all good they said "next time we'll give you a guide so he can look out for you." So that was about it. Until next week.....
